Accuro FM celebrated it's 5th anniversary on March 1st and we are delighted and proud to say the original 3 employees are still with us today. Back 2005 the company managed 2 contracts with 3 staff. Today we have over 100 staff and manage 18 contracts.

It is for Nicola Purdy and her team who have commenced operations on the New Bedford Health Village. Nicola says “We are providing Total Facilities Management to this new style Enhanced Services Centre”. “I’ve spent more time in Bedford than I have at home recently, but it’s all been worth it”. We have recruited a great team of people from the area and that’s important to us in delivering a first class service”

Nigel Prothero, Accuro’s Managing Director, has shown his commitment to better employee benefits by increasing the minimum level of annual leave entitlement for all Accuro employees to 25 days, plus the statutory 8 Bank Holidays. “I believe that to attract and retain the best people you have make the entire employment experience a better one”. “We have always set our standards a little higher than the competition and, by making this change in annual leave entitlement we are delivering a tangible benefit to our staff”. Nigel stated.

“We have expanded our geographic footprint with projects in Milton Keynes, Bedford and Maidstone. A number of new people have joined strengthening our Operations, Sales and Finance teams. We’ve also had our own baby boom with three new arrivals for Patricia, Cheryl and Stuart”

National Minimum wage increased as of the 1st October 2009:
£5.80 for employees aged 22 years and older.
£4.83 for employees aged between 18 and 21 years.
£3.57 for employees aged between 16 and 17 years.
The current Holiday entitlement for all employees is a minimum 5.6 weeks which equates to 28 days including Bank Holidays for a standard 5 day work week.
